Collaborative Information Services, Incorporated (CISI) is a New York State Corporation that focuses on developing products and programs that enable the public to collaborate with law enforcement and government agencies to address various categories of crime and the protection of consumers' private property.
CISI produces multiple technologies that increase the ability of law enforcement to identify vehicles. These include vehicle identification number etching and vehicle identification stickers. Both of these products make it harder for car thieves to clone vehicles or hide them from the public. CISI also produces license plate fasteners that protect vehicle license plates from being removed by thieves in an effort to disguise the identify of the vehicle from law enforcement.
CISI is also the creator and manager of StolenCarReports.com, The Nation's Neighborhood Watch for Stolen Vehicles. Registration in the program enables vehicle owners to warn thieves through an official vehicle IDsticker that the public will be searching for their vehicle in the event it is stolen and a reward will be provided for information leading to its recovery.
